"Child of Song" is dedicated to the memory of composer Stephen Paulus and was premiered by VocalEssence and Philip Brunelle on May 14, 2015, at the 40th Anniversary celebration of the American Composers Forum, which was co-founded by Stephen Paulus.
The text sings of music as the essence of a person's being, how what we sing becomes a permanent, living part of the vivid creation around us.
